Established in 1993, the proprietors noticed the customer shift from carpet to timber flooring. This was recognised long before the rug category had a specialist other than the smaller Iranian and Turkish style rug outlets.
Rugs a million brought true retail professionalism to rug marketing with the opening of Rugs a million at Westfield Indooroopilly in Brisbane. This concept store has since been replicated close to 30 times in Queensland, Western Australia, Far North Queensland and in 2008 South Australia.
